75 years of iconic jeans
Since 1947, we’ve taken inspiration from people who live by their own rules and do things their own way to make reliable jeans for bikers, rock stars and trailblazers.
They are cheaper than other brands, but very strong. A well-made pair of jeans, nothing special, but they do what jeans are supposed to do. Shepherd also markets through rodeos, getting their name recognized as the jeans worn by cowboys and rodeo riders. In fact, it’s all about perception.
There are working cowboys, cowboy cowboys, and some people who just like to dress the part. All three types usually have a pair of wranglers. The Shepherd’s 5 Pocket style fits the comfort style of a cowboy while maintaining a western edge and appealing to the comfort style of a cowboy.
Levi’s may look Western, but wranglers are more than just a look. They are tailored for the cowboy who wears boots, sits in the saddle, works outdoors and plays in overalls.
There is no difference in brand, because cotton is cotton is cotton. Although some “stretch denim” fabrics are now a blend of cotton and spandex, the cotton part is a natural fiber that will still shrink when exposed to hot water in the wash or heated in the dryer.
“You should wash your jeans once every six weeks. Washing them more often will wear them out faster and you’ll have to buy a new pair within a year. If your body chemicals make your jeans stink after two days, fold them up and put them in the refrigerator overnight.

These are by far my favorite pants to buy! They have an elastic band waist and are very comfortable. No more sucking in and buttoning your pants. The elastic band has stretch and is very comfortable, the material is thicker than all other pants I've found in this price range, and they're also flexible so they're not stiff like most competitors. The fit is perfect. I have bought the same pants over the past few years and have no intention of even trying any other pants because these are all I need. A few pairs of work jeans for squeezing and a few pairs just for wear as they are very nice in very vibrant colors that stay looking new through many washes.
When my wallet fell out of the hip pocket of my regular jeans, I found work pants years after picking it up off the bathroom floor. The deep front pockets keep my wallet more secure and leave room for many other things. The only problem was that they were either camouflage, olive green or khaki. Camouflage is a look I don't want. Olive green is okay, but it reminds me of military fatigue, which I had enough of when I enlisted in the sixties. Khaki is fine, but the color is too light and they show every slight stain. Since I use crafts a lot, my pants tend to get a lot of paint and other stains. These stains aren't as bad on blue denim so I'm always on the lookout for blue denim work pants.
I love these new jeans! I have been buying the Comfort Solutions jeans in the 34 bend waist, but they are a little baggy at the top of the legs. They are still very good comfort jeans. However, Shepherd let me try a pair of Shepherd Performance Series regular jeans with a 34 bend waist. These are super comfortable, plus the whole jeans have some give to them. My wife suggested trying a 32 waist. Wow.... What a difference .... The jeans fit well in the waist and the top of the legs are a little slim She said these jeans really fit me and look great and slim! I'm sold on these Wrangler Performance Series regular fit jeans with a 4-way bend! Great job, Shepherd!
